Hi there! I’m Cathy Morrison.
From brief interactions to enduring relationships, I’ve always loved connecting with people. Because of this, making the choice fifteen years ago to follow my dream and become a licensed Realtor® has been one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made. Making the process of buying or selling a home easier for my clients is my goal, and I achieve this by staying ahead of housing trends, new marketing technology, continued education, and insider industry knowledge. I love the idea of home and all it represents, seeking to help my clients find environments that are peaceful, inspiring, and renewing.
A Well-Traveled Career
I’ve lived around the country and around the world, but there’s no place like home! I was raised in Knoxville from the age of 2, and at age 21 began a career as a flight attendant for United Airlines pioneering 747 Jumbo Jets and the DC-10. I was able to meet many exciting celebrities while flying, from John Lennon and Yoko Ono to Lucille Ball and Muhommad Ali! I explored all of the United States and have lived in Chicago, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and the British Virgin Islands. Tennessee called me home in 1982, and I ran a successful retail franchise for 11 years before managing a 178-unit condominium complex in West Knoxville for over 9 years, while at the same time raising my two sons. Throughout my life I’ve enjoyed meeting and helping a diverse range of people of all ages and backgrounds.
Following My Dream
I was given the opportunity to leave Property Management in 2008 to become a full-time licensed Realtor®. I’m so glad I followed my inner voice as I realized I’d found my true calling. Today, I serve clients in Knoxville and surrounding regions, am an active member of the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors, and also volunteer with horse & dog rescue. I love to be in the beautiful East Tennessee outdoors as much as possible – riding horses, working in my gardens, and enjoying water sports with my grandchildren. I still love traveling internationally, but my home in Knoxville is where my heart is.
I look forward to meeting you and discussing what home means to you!
